Kitchen Assistant – Authentic Italian Cuisine in Brussels

The Offer

• Contract: Initial temporary contract (interim) with a strong possibility of a permanent contract (CDI) after a successful trial period.

• Schedule: Part-time, 24-hour work week (spread across lunch and dinner services).

• Starting Salary: From €1,600 gross per month (brute).

Your Responsibilities

• Mise-en-place: Assist the chefs with basic food preparation (chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and organizing ingredients).

• Plating Support: Help with simple plating tasks to ensure dishes leave the kitchen quickly.

• Dishwashing & Hygiene: Operate the industrial dishwasher and ensure all cutlery, plates, and pots are spotless.

• Cleaning: Maintain a clean and safe workspace according to HACCP food safety standards.

• Inventory: Help unload deliveries and organize the cold storage and pantry.

Your Profile

• Language Skills: You are fluent in French. A basic knowledge of Dutch and English is required to communicate effectively in our multicultural team.

• Resilience: You must be able to work under high stress for long periods, especially during the intense "rush" hours.

• Stamina: Physical fitness is essential as you will be on your feet and moving quickly throughout your shift.

• Reliability: You are punctual and have a professional, helpful attitude.
