Contract Type: Temporary (with a view to a permanent contract)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Starting Salary: From €1,800 gross per month

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our guests, you are the face of our hotel. We are looking for a vibrant and professional individual who can receive all customers with a bright smile and ensure their stay begins and ends on a high note.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests upon arrival.

  • Front Desk Operations: Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, including verifying identities and issuing key cards.

  • Reservations & Communication: Handle incoming bookings via phone and email, manage room allocations, and operate the hotel switchboard.

  • Guest Support: Act as a local "tour guide" by providing information on attractions, transport, and dining in the Drogenbos and Brussels area.

  • Administration: Process payments (cash and card), prepare guest bills, and maintain accurate records of daily transactions.

  • Collaboration: Coordinate closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and any guest issues are resolved promptly.

Requirements

  • Languages: Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is mandatory.

  • Bonus Skill: Knowledge of German is considered a strong asset.

  • Attitude: An enthusiastic, customer-oriented mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

  • Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and basic IT proficiency (previous experience with hotel software like Opera or Mews is a plus).

  • Appearance: Professional and polished grooming standards at all times.
